Still here!!!

Sorry for the absence! I have no idea where the time is going! Let's catch up!

We went to Justin's coworker son's birthday party a few weekends ago, and it was so much fun! I'm still new to this town, so it was nice meeting other people! After the little boy's birthday party, it turned into an adult birthday party! They broke out the beer pong, baseball, and honeycomb game.

I have never seen Justin drunk before ever, so this was fun! He's not a big drinker to start with and he was keeping up with all the other guys. Let's just say that he ended up passed out on my shoulder, and then had to sneak out because he was going to be sick and he didn't want anyone to see!

By the time we got home, it was a whopping 10:45pm and he had passed out in bed! We are some hard partying people, let me tell you!

8w5d

Since I have figured out what was causing my sickness, I haven't had anymore!!!! I do realize that I need to eat every few hours or I start to feel nauseous.

We had dinner with Justin's work partners and their wives last night. We went to a Brazilian Steakhouse. I wasn't sure what I should wear since it's an all you can eat place and by the end of the night my pants feel a little tight. I asked the girls on TB and everyone voted for the extra comfy maternity pants, so I broke those out! And I am soo glad that I did! So much more comfortable then wearing pants that hurt after awhile!

There was a new couple that was added to the group since Justin is training him right now, so they sat in front of us. Super nice couple. I even found out that my new OB was the one who delivered (via c-section) their daughter 2 years ago! She said that she really liked him! So that just seals it for me!

Here's me rockin' a full maternity outfit for the night! And I'm also sucking it in too!

8w3d- 1st appt with new OB

I was told on the phone that this appt will just be paperwork and medical history. I did bring Justin, just in case.

I left him in the waiting room when I got called back. I don't think it would be right of me to have him watch me get a Pap smear after what he went through on our IUI day!

MA took my weight (down 6lbs!) and blood pressure, which was normal. Then Dr. L came in and introduced himself.

We then went and talked in his office about our long journey that finally has brought us to this point. He said that since I just had an u/s 2 weeks ago, he didn't think it was necessary to do another one at this time. My face went to sad panda.

He saw this and then quickly adds, "Well, since you're already here, why don't we do a quick u/s? Actually, if we do a quick one,we might as well do a full one."

I got super excited and told him that Justin was outside in the waiting room. He said that he'll get someone to bring him back to the room after the Pap.

When we get into the U/S room, the girl tells me to lay on the table. I'm standing there, thinking, "Okay, are you not going to leave the room while I get undressed?"

She looks at me and says again, "I need you to lay on the table and unbutton and unzip your pants." It was a regular u/s and not a vaginal one! Thank you IF brain for almost humiliating myself in front of her and Justin, because we all know that he would NEVER let me live that down!

Their u/s machine is hooked up to a huge flat screen tv and once again I had Justin record it!

Jellybean is still measuring a day behind, but they're leaving my due date the same.

Oh, and the most important thing...only ONE baby in there!

7w4d- Time to Update

I've been doing good, pretty much nauseous all the time though. When I get the watery mouth feeling, I have an internal fight with myself and try to talk myself out of needing to run to the bathroom. This week, I haven't been winning that battle.

On Wednesday, we had our meeting with our mortgage lady to run our credit again to see if we can get the ball rolling.

A little back story here: I am always the one who wakes up early, so I was up at about 9am and by 10am, I was starving! We went out for Mexican food the night before, so I had my leftovers in the fridge. I decided that I should heat up my taco, rice and beans and eat that. I felt fine until about 1:45pm. We had to leave the house by 2pm to make the 2:30pm appointment.

So for the last 15 minutes before we had to leave, my head was in the toilet. I've always hated throwing up, and this was pretty bad. It felt like I was going to suffocate because as soon as I tried to take a breath, more was coming out.

Lesson learned, no more Mexican food leftovers!

I have been taking weekly pics since Week 4 (because I am a total nerd and Justin says he doesn't want anymore after this one, so I am doing anything and everything I can to document this). I don't think that you can really see anything, especially since I didn't start out "flat". I got some extra fluff going so I don't really expect to see anything until way later.  But I am throwing caution to the wind, and letting you guys see me in all my glory (and bloat)!

And I totally forgot about starting the weekly updates, so I figured that I should probably start!

How far along: 7w4d

Size of Baby: Blueberry!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I weighed myself last week and I was down 4lbs!

Maternity Clothes: The red shirt in my 4w pic. I bought new shirts at Old Navy but just in the next size up. I gave in and bought a pair of full panel jeans at Target, but I haven't had to wear them...yet!

Gender: We will be Team Find Out!

Belly Button In/Out: In

Stretch Marks: Nothing new

Labor Signs: Nope, and hopefully nothing for another 32 weeks!

Movement: Nothing yet

Sleep: I'm tired during the day, but I can't nap. I go to bed first and I am the first one up in the morning. I try to get around 8-9 hours a night. I've had some really weird dreams, nothing sexual yet!

Cravings/Aversions: I am loving the Chicken Fajita Pitas from Jack in the Box! Does not wanting to cook count as an aversion? I think it's because I don't want to be around raw meat! I convinced Justin to have a bowl of cereal last night for dinner. I'm horrible!

Symptoms: I still have the sore boobs, feeling queasy, my nails are growing like mad, the greasy hair, minimal bloat now, and just the general feeling of fatigue

Feeling: I am super happy, but for whatever reason, I still can't believe it! And of course, nervous!

Best Moment this Week: I told the rest of my family and close friends! Everyone was soo happy and super excited!

What I Miss: Eating things without first thinking if it will make me sick later

What I am Looking Forward To: Stopping the baby aspirin, meaning one less pill to take!

Milestones: Making it to 7w!

Baby Milestones: Baby's arms and leg joints are now forming and her brain and heart are becoming more complex! Baby is about .51 inches and has doubled in weight since last week!

Next Appointment: I have my first appt with a new OB/GYN on Thursday, March 14!!! I can not wait!
